Just north of the 8,041-foot summit of Deadman Pass on Highway 395, scenic Highway 158 travels westward and makes a 16-mile loop before returning to Highway 395 just south of the town of Lee Vining.  Along the way the June Lake Loop passes by four lakes: June, Gull, Silver, and Grant. Close by June Lake is June Lake Village and the June Mountain skiing facilities.  The lakes pictured below offer excellent trout fishing, either from their shores or with boats from their marinas.
