KEARSARGE PASS TRAIL
All photographs shown below were taken on packtrain-in / backpack-out trips during summer months in 1957 and 1958. It is noteworthy that these 35-mm. slides have held their quality over a span of nearly half a century.

Kearsarge Pinnacles and Lakes
In August, 1957 we took a pack train from Onion Valley to the Kearsarge Lakes just over Kearsarge Pass. Early and rapid pitching of our tent was occasioned by a late afternoon thunderstorm. As the storm cleared it provided an opportunity to take the photograph below. It shows the rugged Kearsarge Pinnacles reflected in one of the lakes.
